INTERPRETING CLASSES
The AVP Translation and Interpretation Training Course was created in July 1997, in order to respond to a need, both locally and nationally, to train highly qualified professional translators and Interpreters for the ethical exercise of their profession and who have the necessary skills to devote themselves to the practice, research and / or teaching of this discipline.
The first step for this academic project took place in 1995, with the creation of the Diploma in Translation and Interpretation (DTI) which have been given on a regular basis since November 1997. These diplomas are aimed at working interpreters, students, as well as to the public in general, who have a High School education or higher with knowledge in some humanistic, social, technical or scientific area and who wish to be trained as professional translators in their respective areas of specialty.
In addition to continuing the existing projects, the DTI is working on the development of new academic projects with a view to strengthening the training and updating of translators and translation teachers, while seeking to promote research and dissemination of Academic activities around translation.
